Position Summary

The Behavioral & Mental Health Therapist will be an integral part of Linwalk’s multidisciplinary
team, providing evidence-based and holistic therapeutic services to children, adolescents,
adults, and families. The ideal candidate will deliver compassionate, goal-oriented care that
supports emotional, physical, and spiritual wellness.

This role involves conducting individual, family, and group therapy sessions; collaborating with
other wellness professionals; and contributing to treatment plans that empower clients to
achieve balance and improved quality of life.
Responsibilities

● Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions (CBT, DBT, ACT, Solution-Focused
Therapy, etc.) tailored to client needs.

● Conduct intake assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver ongoing therapy (in-
person, home-based, or virtual).

● Support clients experiencing anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, grief, and
family/relationship challenges.

● Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including counselors, wellness coaches, and
healthcare professionals.

● Integrate holistic approaches addressing mental, emotional, and physical wellness.

● Offer education, coping strategies, and family support to strengthen resilience and
promote overall well-being.

● Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with ethical and professional standards.

Qualifications

● Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family
Therapy from an accredited university.

● Active and unrestricted license in the state of Georgia (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT).

● Minimum of 3 years of supervised clinical experience providing therapy services.

● Experience with a range of modalities such as CBT, ACT, DBT, TF-CBT, PCIT, or
Solution-Focused Therapy.

● Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to connect across diverse
backgrounds.

● Demonstrated commitment to holistic, client-centered care and teamwork.

Preferred Experience

● Experience in home-based or community mental health settings.
● Familiarity with wellness-focused or integrative care models.
● Comfort providing both virtual and in-person services.

Work Environment

This role offers flexibility with opportunities for both in-person and virtual counseling sessions.
Therapists may work in home-based settings, our offices, or remotely, depending on client
needs.

Job Type: Part-Time & Full-Time Opportunities
Pay:
Schedule: Monday–Friday, with occasional weekends as needed
Work Setting: Community and home-based environments
