Position Summary

The Drug Screener (Female) plays an essential role in Linwalk’s care network by conducting
accurate and confidential specimen collections for drug and alcohol testing. This role requires
professionalism, empathy, and integrity, ensuring that all procedures are carried out respectfully
and in accordance with federal, state, and company standards.

The ideal candidate values both precision and compassion—helping clients maintain
accountability while feeling respected and supported.

Key Responsibilities

● Perform urine, hair, and/or saliva specimen collections following strict chain-of-custody
procedures.
● Ensure privacy, dignity, and professionalism throughout the entire collection process.
● Complete and maintain accurate documentation and reports in compliance with
company and regulatory standards.
● Prepare and ship specimens to certified laboratories securely and promptly.
● Maintain a clean, organized, and confidential testing area.
● Communicate respectfully and effectively with clients, families, and partner agencies.
● Adhere to Linwalk Creative Solutions policies, as well as DOT, SAMHSA, and HIPAA
guidelines.
● Collaborate with Linwalk’s counseling and wellness teams to support client
accountability and holistic care.

Qualifications

● High school diploma or equivalent required.
● Prior experience in drug screening, healthcare, behavioral health, or laboratory setting
preferred.
● DOT certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred.
● Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
● Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and
empathy.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar software.
● Must maintain professionalism and ethical conduct at all times.

Work Environment

● May require standing for extended periods and handling biological specimens.
● May involve travel to various community sites, client locations, or partner agencies.
● Flexible, part-time scheduling may be available based on program needs.

Job Type: Part-Time
Pay:
Schedule: Monday–Friday, with occasional weekends as needed
Work Setting: Community and home-based environments
