Position Summary

The Drug Screener (Male) is a key member of the Linwalk team, responsible for performing
accurate and confidential specimen collections for drug and alcohol testing. This role upholds
the highest standards of integrity, respect, and confidentiality while helping clients and
community partners maintain accountability and wellness.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, discretion, and empathy in all
interactions, contributing to Linwalk’s mission of providing supportive, respectful, and solution-
focused care.


Key Responsibilities

● Perform specimen collections (urine, hair, and/or saliva) in accordance with federal,
state, and company protocols.
● Maintain strict chain-of-custody procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
● Uphold privacy, dignity, and professionalism during all client interactions.
● Accurately complete all required documentation and data entry.
● Prepare and ship specimens to certified laboratories promptly and securely.
● Maintain a clean, organized, and confidential testing environment.
● Communicate courteously and effectively with clients, families, and referral sources.
● Follow all Linwalk Creative Solutions, DOT, SAMHSA, and HIPAA policies.
● Collaborate with Linwalk’s counseling and case management team when needed to
support holistic client care.


Qualifications

● High school diploma or equivalent required.
● Prior experience in drug screening, healthcare, behavioral health, or laboratory setting
preferred.
● DOT certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred.
● Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
● Ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations with professionalism and empathy.
● Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
● Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office or similar software).
● Must maintain appropriate professional boundaries and confidentiality at all times.


Work Environment

● May require standing for extended periods and handling biological specimens.
● May include travel to community sites, partner agencies, or client homes as needed.
● Part-time or flexible scheduling may be available depending on program needs.

Job Type: Part-Time
Pay:
Schedule: Monday–Friday, with occasional weekends as needed
Work Setting: Community and home-based environments
